“Do you have any books or genres in particular, you look forward to read/read more in 2015?” (Photo: Rakka, ‘new year’s resolution’, Flickr, License CC BY-NC-ND 2.0)
Over the years I’ve started quite a lot of series, yet many of them remain unfinished and neglected. For that reason I will dedicate at least the beginning of 2015 to series like The Mortal Instruments, The Infernal Devices, Heroes of Olympus and Sherlock Holmes. There is really no reason, except for laziness, why I have not read the books, because they are all sitting on my bookshelf.
After the summer I will begin to study literature more closely, especially English literature. Therefore I have decided to read some classics in advance to be a tiny bit prepared at least, as well as pushing myself out of my comfort zone. I really look forward to read To Kill a Mockingbird and Jane Eyre, as I have been told from a few of my older friends that they are worth suffering through the old-fashioned language.

I’ve always had a love for fantasy books. I remember when I was little, I always went to the fantasy shelf at the library and I could spend hours looking for the perfect book to read. Now I still spend hours looking at books but mainly on the internet 😉 However, lately I’ve been reading a lot more contemporary and it is just not the same for me. So I look forward to read more fantasy books again here in 2015 and get back to my favorite genre.

In 2014 I realized that I have a thing for books that has car crashes in them! So therefore I would really like to read more books in that “genre”.
I also hope that 2015 will be the year where I finally get to read the Harry Potter series in English, so I guess I’m also looking forward to read some fantasy. I kind of like the whole idea about a different world hidden from the muggles, where almost anything is possible. You just have to add a little magic.
