Happy New Year! 🙂

Hey everyone! This year has gone by way to fast, not to mention the month of December.

In December, I have been reading the book ‘The Perfectionists’ by Sara Shepard who happens to be my all time favorite author.

I really love and enjoy the book for so many different reasons, which I would love to share with you in my upcoming review on it. Other than that, I have been trying to find my taste regarding books. Unfortunately, I have not found it yet, but I am definitely getting there.

I am leaning towards books with fashion, murder and mysteries, so if you guys know any good books that involves that (besides the Sara Shepard books) please let me know!

Otherwise, I hope you all had a wonderful year and Christmas, and I wish you all a very happy and safe New Year!

Sincerely Natacha

Thank you, Coralie! Don’t know why I never thought of them, but I’ll definitely give them a try!

  2. Happy New Year, Natacha! 🙂

I’m so glad that you finally found youself a book that’s worthwhile. 🙂 When we review the Danish novels for youths, only, we didn’t have the luxery to chose whatever we wanted.

No we can chose exactly want we want, but it’s quite easy to forget, that the more choises we’ve got, the harder it is to decide what to read, also it’s harder to identify what’s actually ones own taste.

We know it from Netflix or large large movie theaters too, it becomes so important for us to make the perfect choice. If it had been an overseas flight from London to New York and there was only two movies, life would suddenly become easy and it would actually be a bit of a relief.

But I’m glad that you found yourself another. And I can only confirm Coralie’s suggestion about Kate Brian’s PRIVATE-series. It’s one of the best series I have ever read, and there’s a lot of fashion, make-up, feelings and thrilling mysteries in it. I have often surfed the book shops on the web, because it would be such a good feeling to own the whole, and the three prequels in the original language.

Also each novel is about 200 pages, and that would a great S-train-size for you. A little chapter every time you got five spare minutes. 😉

    Best wishes Peter

Exactly, it is hard to make a decision on which book you should choose. But I’ve definitely come closer to my taste, it really hit me while reading The Perfectionists, why I liked Sara Shepard’s books so much – because the content was murder, fashion and USA. I’ll give the Private books a try, most definitely! 😀

Happy New Year, Natacha! I hope you had a great Christmas and enjoyed the Holiday, because I did! 😀

I don’t really know any books in that genre, except the books you’ve already read, but if I hear or read about anything like that I’ll definitely let you know! 🙂
