I kept thinking that I was one step ahead of the book, but in the end I realized the story was always one step ahead of me. ‘Trust Me, I’m Lying’ shows how love can come at the most unexpected times and how you are willing to go anywhere in order to keep your family safe.

‘Hello, I Love You’ by Katie M. Stout
Sometimes you think you know exactly what you’re going to get, and you got the entire book planned out in your head. ‘Hello, I Love You’ was nothing like that. From the moment I got on the plane to Korea with the main character Grace, I was just as lost as her and had to find my way.
‘Hello, I Love You’ shows us how love can be tricky and difficult and most of all, that sometimes it is worth fighting for, even if you’re scared.
‘A School for Unusual Girls’ (Stranje House #1) by Kathleen Baldwin
‘A School for Unusual Girls’ isn’t just another story about a guy and a girl falling in love though. It is a book about finding yourself and finding people who accept you for you.
‘Just One Day’ (Just One Day #1) by Gayle Forman
Allyson has never done anything unexpected until she meets Willem. He asks her to go to Paris with him for just one day, and so she does. The book is a good mixture of travelling, love and finding yourself, which pretty much describes most teenagers wishes. Together I think Willem and Allyson make our times most epic love story.
‘Invitation Only’ (Private #2) by Kate Brian
(Spoiler Alert! Second book in a series.) Reed is finally a Billings Girl and is ready to live the glamorous life – or so she thinks. Thomas is still missing, her new roommate is blackmailing her and apparently, everyone seems to be talking about this party called ‘The Legacy’ which Reed has no idea what is. ‘Invitation Only’ takes place a couple of days after ‘Private’ and it left me speechless. It is so much darker than ‘Private’ and the plot is so well put together, that I forgot I was reading the book and actually thought, that I was in the book.
‘Private’ (Private #1) by Kate Brian
15 year old Reed Brennan wins a scholarship to her dream school. When she starts at school she quickly realizes, that not everything is easy. But the she meets the perfect Billings Girls who can make anything easy, as long as you do as they say. While reading ‘Private’ I found myself unable to stop reading. Sometimes you find a book where everything about it is just amazing and you get that feeling, that this is the book. ‘Private’ was exactly that for me, because I was Reed Brennan.
‘The Luxe’ (Luxe #1) by Anna Godbersen
If you like all the glitz and the glam, New York, the 19th century, the scandals, the charming irresistible boys and the manipulative and glamorous girls, then this is the book for you. It takes you into the world of all that, and you want to scream, cry and hug the characters all at once.
‘The Perfectionists’ (The Perfectionists #1) by Sara Shepard
Five girls, one murder and a whole lot of mystery. The story about Ava, Caitlin, Julie, Mackenzie and Parker who all hate the same guy. Together they come up with the perfect plan to kill him, but when he shows up dead the exact same way they planned it they have to work together to find the real killer before their perfect lives comes crumbling down around them.
When you mix the perfect girls, irresistible boys, plotted murder and secrets you get the perfect Sara Shepard cocktail. The Perfectionists had me at the edge of me seat the entire ride and I never knew what to expect along the way.

‘The Lying Game’: Igennem de sidste to år og de sidste fem bøger har jeg set Emma over skulderen, mens hun har prøvet at finde sin søsters morder. Hun har fulgt alle spor, hun kunne og anklaget alle dem, hun kunne. Det var en rigtig bittersød slutning for mig at sidde med, for slutningen var alt, jeg kunne have håbet på, men nu da jeg har den, har jeg ikke længere nogen bøger at se frem til.
’Cross My Heart, Hope To Die’ (The Lying Game 5) af Sara Shepard
‘The Lying Game’: Efter meget lang tids venten kunne jeg endelig komme tilbage til Emmas liv med mysterier, intriger, kærlighed og ikke mindst hendes søgen efter sin søsters morder. Der er ingen tvivl om, at ’The Lying Game’ bøgerne er mine absolut yndlingsbøger, og det bekræfter Sara Shepard for mig gang på gang.

‘Julemandens lærling’ varer kun en time. Det var dog en time, hvor jeg kunne slippe væk fra stress og jag og tage med til Julemandens værksted med jul, nisser og magi. ‘Julemandens lærling’ fik mig til at reflektere over min barndom. Dengang jeg var lille og glædede mig til juleaften. Fantastisk!
