‘Red Queen’ and ‘Glass Sword’ – my opinion!

Vox pop: With the February 9th release of ‘Glass Sword’, the second book in Victoria Aveyard’s series ‘Red Queen’, #bookstagram floods over with pretty pictures of both books, and readers comment that they can’t get hold of ‘Glass Sword’ fast enough.

‘We were liars’ af Emily Lockhart

‘Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them’ (Hogwarts Library)

For all the Harry Potter fans out there who – just like me – never got over the ending of Harry Potter, you have to read the three extra books in the Hogwarts Library. They are spin off books from Harry Potter and all books from the Harry Potter universe. (Drawing: Emma Klausen)

‘Firsts’ by Laurie Elizabeth Flynn

I had great expectations to this book. The plot-idea sounded appealing to me, and I thought the main character would go through some kind of development. But I was disappointed. After reading, I was so confused, and I was not sure what the book was actually about. It left me with more questions than answers.

I heart New York (I heart #1) by Lindsey Kelk

At a wedding (not her own) Angelas Clark realizes that her boyfriend has betrayed her. She leaves everything and decides to go to New York. She quickly gets a new friend, and all of a sudden she finds herself dating two hot guys, in the best city in the world. I don’t think everyone will like Lindsey Kelk’s first book in the ‘I heart’ series, but if your into chick lit, love ‘Sex and The City’ or similar things, you should definitely give it a go!

‘NEED’ by Joelle Charbonneau

There is a difference between wanting something and needing something. Students at a high school in Nottawa realize that, when a new social media is spreading among them. ‘NEED’ by Joelle Charbonneau is an extremely relevant and realistic book. We are living in an age where almost every teen is using some kind of social media, and I think that is why the book spoke so much to me.

‘Trust Me, I’m Lying’ (Trust Me #1) by Mary Elizabeth Summer

I kept thinking that I was one step ahead of the book, but in the end I realized the story was always one step ahead of me. ‘Trust Me, I’m Lying’ shows how love can come at the most unexpected times and how you are willing to go anywhere in order to keep your family safe.
